The traditional art forms of double ikat weaving, telia rumal weaving and vegetable dye free hand painting(kalamkari) is undergoing turbulent times in India. Hundreds of artisans traditionally dependent on them for their livelihood have been shifting to menial jobs like factory workers and call centers for better opportunities.
We work with the women artisans, to create sustainable incomes for them and their families.
